MedStore ERP is business software for running a pharmacy. It records what you tell it. It does not exercise professional judgement, and it does not replace the people and processes that are legally accountable for a pharmacy's operation.
1. Not medical or pharmaceutical advice
Every dispensing decision rests with the licensed pharmacist. Nothing the software displays — a stock level, a medicine name, a generic mapping, a customer’s purchase history — should be treated as clinical guidance or as confirmation that a sale is appropriate. Information entered about medicines is supplied by the pharmacy, and we do not independently verify it.
2. Regulatory and licensing compliance
Pharmacies in India operate under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and its Rules, state licensing conditions, and rules on scheduled and narcotic substances. Meeting those obligations is your responsibility.
Features such as prescription attachment, batch tracking, and expiry alerts are provided to help you keep records — they are not a compliance guarantee. Using MedStore ERP does not by itself make a pharmacy compliant, and we do not warrant that its record formats satisfy any particular inspector or authority.
3. Tax, GST, and financial reporting
The Service generates GST summaries, GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B style reports, profit and loss statements, and stock valuations from the data you enter. These are working aids, not filed returns and not professional advice.
- Figures are only as accurate as the HSN codes, GST rates, and prices your staff entered.
- Tax rules change, and a report format correct at one time may not remain so.
- Review every figure with a qualified accountant or tax professional before filing or relying on it.
We accept no liability for penalties, interest, or assessments arising from returns filed using these reports.
4. Expiry, stock, and alerts
Low-stock warnings, expiry buckets, and reorder suggestions are calculated from recorded batches and stock movements. They will be wrong if goods receipts, write-offs, or sales were not recorded, or were recorded incorrectly.
5. Forecasts and analytics
Where the Service offers demand forecasting, reorder suggestions, or trend analysis, these are statistical estimates from past sales. They are not predictions of what will happen, and they cannot anticipate outbreaks, supply disruption, price changes, or regulatory action. Treat them as one input to a purchasing decision, not as the decision.
6. Data accuracy
The Service requires an internet connection. If connectivity drops mid-entry, a transaction may not reach our servers — check that a bill or payment has saved before treating it as recorded.
You remain responsible for the accuracy of data entered by your staff and for reconciling records. As set out in the Terms & Conditions, you should keep your own backups of records you are required to retain.
7. Third-party services and links
Features depending on Google Drive, the WhatsApp Business API, payment processors, and similar providers are subject to those providers’ own availability and terms. Any external links we include are for convenience; we do not endorse or take responsibility for their content.
8. Limitation
Nothing in this disclaimer limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, the limitations in section 9 of the Terms & Conditions apply to everything described here.
